Pastor Dewayne Nobles

Pastor Dewayne Nobles

Pastor Dewayne Nobles serves as pastor of Lake Swamp Baptist Church. Originally from Tabor City, North Carolina, he graduated from Tabor City High School in 1992. Afterward, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he completed a 22-year career as an intelligence analyst and drone operator. Following his honorable retirement as a Chief Master Sergeant, Pastor Dewayne returned to his roots in Tabor City. In 2021, he graduated summa cum laude from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He has now dedicated his life to helping others increase their knowledge and understanding of the Bible. He is passionate about guiding people to overcome the programming to which we have all been subjected by reading, studying, understanding, and applying what God’s Word says rather than relying on what we have heard (Acts 17:11). He is married to Laura Boyd Nobles, and they have three children: Dristan and his wife, Gracie; Yana; and Skye. They also share their home with their beloved fur babies, Enoch and Mila.

Matthew 22:37-39

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
